Two parts rock show, one part storytelling event, The Medea Cycle exists in the fertile ground between two genres: it combines the raucous energy of a rock show with the intimacy of an experimental theater event. Written and performed by The Kilbanes (formerly kate kilbane & the cellar doors) at its core are twelve rock tunes that tell the story of Medea, a Greek sorceress and anti-heroine who sacrifices everything - her family, her country, and her vocation - for love. When she finds herself betrayed and abandoned by that same love, she decides to exact her revenge in one of the most chilling ways possible.
